1. Cleaning parts: After use, first clean the liquid medicine barrel, hose, spray rod and other parts, and pay special attention to removing the grease on the pump and the dirt in the concave part of the bottom of the liquid medicine barrel.
2. Wash with alkaline water: Because most pesticides have a certain corrosive effect on the sprayer, it should be washed with alkaline water in time after discontinuation, and then rinsed with clean water. Especially after spraying highly corrosive pesticides such as Bordeaux liquid, it is best to soak it in alkaline water for 1-2 hours.
3. Disassembly and cleaning: All removable parts should be disassembled and cleaned. The inner tube wall of the spray rod and nozzle should be rinsed with engine oil to prevent moisture and rust.
4. Apply engine oil: The inner tube wall of the spray rod and nozzle should be coated with engine oil to prevent rust.
5. Inspection and oiling: Check each component in detail. All parts fixed with screws or places that are often worn should be coated with glycerin or butter. If damaged parts are found, they should be repaired in time.
6. Storage conditions: After completing the above inspection, wrap the small parts with paper and put them in the liquid storage cylinder to avoid accidental loss. The entire sprayer should be hung in a dry and ventilated warehouse, not in a dark and damp corner, let alone in the open air.
7. Long-term storage: If the sprayer is not used in the short term, the main parts should be cleaned, wiped dry, assembled, and stored in a cool and dry place. If it is not used for a long time, all metal parts should be coated with butter to prevent rust.
