1. Preparation before measurement: Rest for 5-10 minutes before measurement, avoid strenuous exercise, drinking, coffee or strong tea, etc., and keep your emotions stable. At the same time, choose the right cuff size. Generally speaking, the width of the cuff should cover 2/3 of the upper arm, and the length should be able to wrap around the upper arm with a certain margin.
2. Correct posture: When measuring, you should sit on a chair with your back straight, your arms should be at the same level as your heart, your palms facing up, and do not make a fist. The cuff should be wrapped flatly around the upper arm, and the tightness should be suitable for inserting a finger.
3. Number of measurements: In order to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results, it is recommended to measure at least 2-3 times each time, with an interval of 1-2 minutes each time, and take the average value as the measurement result. If the two measurement results differ greatly, measure again.
4. Regular calibration: Digital Sphygmomanometer needs to be calibrated regularly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results. It is generally recommended to calibrate once a year, and the sphygmomanometer can be sent to a professional metrology agency or manufacturer for calibration.
