Choose a suitable storage location
1. Dry and ventilated place: The stethoscope should be stored in a dry and well-ventilated environment. The ideal storage environment humidity is generally between 40%-60% to prevent moisture from causing the metal parts of the stethoscope to rust, and the rubber or plastic parts to mold and deteriorate.
2. Suitable temperature place: The ambient temperature for storing the stethoscope should be kept between 15℃-25℃. Avoid placing it in places with too high or too low temperatures, such as windowsills exposed to direct sunlight, near heaters or air conditioners, etc., to prevent the material of the stethoscope from accelerating aging and deformation due to thermal expansion and contraction or long-term high temperature.
3. Clean and hygienic place: Choose a clean, dust-free, and debris-free place to store the stethoscope to prevent dust and debris from entering the interior of the stethoscope and affecting sound conduction.
Use the correct storage method
1. Hanging storage: It is best to use a special hook to hang the stethoscope so that the sound guide tube droops naturally. This can prevent the sound guide tube from being squeezed, twisted or folded, maintain its shape and elasticity, and extend its service life.
2. Flat: If there is no hanging condition, you can also place the stethoscope flat on a clean, flat desktop or in a dedicated storage box, but make sure the stethoscope is neatly placed and do not let the earpieces, stethoscope head or sound guide tube and other parts squeeze or twist each other.
3. Avoid pressure: Do not place heavy objects on the stethoscope to avoid squeezing and deforming the stethoscope, especially the stethoscope head and sound guide tube. Pressure may affect the accuracy and clarity of sound transmission.

1. Store separately: The stethoscope should be stored separately and avoid being placed with sharp and hard objects to prevent scratches and collisions that may damage the surface of the stethoscope or parts.
2. Keep away from chemicals: Keep the stethoscope away from corrosive substances such as chemicals and disinfectants, which may react chemically with the material of the stethoscope and cause damage to it.
