I. Adjusting Eartips and Ear Tubes
‌Check eartip orientation‌: The curve at the junction of the eartip and the metal/rubber tube should point forward toward the bridge of the nose, aligning with the natural angle of the ear canal.
‌Adjust ear tube tension‌: Hold the two metal tubes and gently squeeze them inward or pull them outward until they fit snugly against your head-secure enough not to slip off, yet comfortable enough not to pinch or hurt your ears.
II. Functional Verification After Fitting
‌Check for clear airflow‌: Before use, ensure the tubing is not kinked or blocked and that the eartips are free of earwax or foreign objects.
‌Functional test‌: Lightly brush your finger across the diaphragm of the chestpiece; if you hear a clear rubbing sound, the device is fitted correctly and functioning properly.
III. Avoiding Common Mistakes
Do not wear the eartips backward; doing so significantly reduces sound isolation, increases interference from ambient noise, and may even prevent you from hearing internal body sounds.
Do not force the eartips deep into the ear canal; a comfortable, snug fit is sufficient to avoid pain or discomfort caused by prolonged use.
Clean the eartips before use to prevent earwax from blocking the sound channel and impairing sound transmission efficiency.
