Disposable probe covers: Discard and replace immediately after use on one person; wash and air-dry reusable covers immediately after use.
Probe tip: Wipe gently with an alcohol swab for disinfection after each use; perform a full cleaning at least once a week when not in use.
II. Non-contact Infrared Forehead Thermometers
1. General home use: Clean the probe immediately after each contact with a person; wipe down and disinfect the entire unit regularly on a weekly basis.
2. High-frequency use (public places/production lines): Clean and disinfect the probe and casing promptly after completing a batch of temperature screenings.
III. Industrial/Laboratory Thermometers
1. Laboratory thermometers exposed to chemical reagents or high-temperature molten materials: Clean immediately after each measurement to prevent residue crystallization or adhesion, which could affect accuracy or damage the equipment.
2. Industrial online monitoring thermometers: Clean dust and oil from the probe surface during routine inspections; perform deep cleaning and maintenance at least once a week.
3. Self-calibrating precision thermometers: Allow the probe to cool after use, then immediately wipe the probe and unit body to prevent corrosive residues from damaging components.
IV. Additional Requirements for Special Scenarios
1. Thermometers shared by multiple users (e.g., in medical facilities or production workshops) must follow the "one person, one use, one disinfection" protocol; batch cleaning after consecutive use by multiple people is strictly prohibited.
2. Thermometers used on patients with high fevers or infectious diseases must be disinfected separately and immediately; do not store them with uncontaminated equipment.
3. Thermometers in long-term storage: Clean the surface at least once every two weeks to prevent dust accumulation or moisture damage that could affect future use.
