I. Preparation Before Use
Cleaning and Disinfection: Wipe the probe with an alcohol swab to avoid cross-infection.
Checking Status: Press the power button. A beep and the screen lighting up indicate it's ready.
II. Measurement Methods
1. Oral Measurement: Place the probe under the tongue, close your mouth, and breathe through your nose.
Wait for the beep (approximately 1-3 minutes) before taking the reading.
2. Axillary Measurement: Dry your armpit, clamp the probe firmly, and keep your arm close to your body.
Maintain this position for 5-7 minutes. After hearing the beep, wait 3 seconds before removing the probe.
3. Ear Temperature Measurement: Straighten the ear canal, align the probe with the eardrum, and press the button.
The result is displayed in one second. Note: Clean any earwax before use.
III. Post-Measurement Processing
Reading Data: Record the data after the screen reading stabilizes. Normal oral temperature is 36.3-37.2℃.
Cleaning and Maintenance: Wipe the probe and body with an alcohol swab. Do not use hot water or corrosive liquids.
Proper Storage: After turning off the device, store it in its protective case, away from light, moisture, and high temperatures.
IV. Precautions
Before Measurement: Do not measure within 30 minutes of exercising, showering, or eating.
During Measurement: Remain still and do not talk or move.
After Measurement: Wait 3 seconds before removing the device to avoid data drift.
Special Populations: Forehead or ear temperature is recommended for infants and young children. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
