1. Temperature: The ideal calibration environment temperature is about 25℃. Too high or too low temperature will affect the accuracy of calibration. Calibration should be avoided in direct sunlight, air conditioning outlets, fans and other environments to prevent ambient temperature fluctuations from interfering with the calibration results.
2. Humidity: The ambient humidity must also be appropriate. High humidity may cause water vapor to condense on the thermometer probe, affecting heat transfer, and thus affecting the calibration results.
3. Preparation of the person being measured:
1. Keep quiet: When measuring body temperature, keep quiet and avoid eating, drinking, strenuous exercise and other behaviors to avoid affecting the measurement results. It is recommended to avoid these activities within 30 minutes before measurement.
2. Choose the right time for measurement: human body temperature may fluctuate in different time periods. Generally speaking, the body temperature is relatively high after getting up in the morning, in the afternoon or in the evening, and low at night. If continuous monitoring of body temperature is required, it is recommended to measure at the same time every day to obtain a more accurate trend of body temperature changes.
3. Precautions for specific groups: For infants, children, the elderly or people with certain diseases, special attention may be required when measuring body temperature. For example, infants may need to be measured while sleeping or in a quiet state; children may need parents to help fix the thermometer; the elderly may be less sensitive to temperature changes and need to observe the measurement results more carefully; patients with heart disease, lung disease, etc. may need to follow the doctor's advice when measuring body temperature.
