1. If there is sweat under the armpit, wipe it dry and measure it.

2. If the measurement time is not up, loosen the armpits, you need to re-measure, and the time should be recalculated.

3. All factors that affect the actual body temperature (such as drinking boiled water or cold drinks) should be avoided before measuring the body temperature. Drinking hot drinks, strenuous exercise, emotional agitation and bathing need to wait 30 minutes before taking the measurement.

4. The highest temperature value of the glass thermometer is 42℃, so the temperature should not exceed 42℃ during storage or cleaning. The thermometer should not be washed in hot water or used to measure the temperature of water and other objects.

Special considerations:

The glass thermometer is easy to break and may be contaminated by mercury (mercury). Therefore, it must be properly kept by the dormitory, and be careful to handle it carefully to avoid excessive vibration. After the prevention and control of influenza A, the school will take back the thermometers.

Once the thermometer is damaged, it is strictly forbidden to continue to use it. Emergency treatment should be carried out according to the correct method, mercury should be recovered to prevent poisoning and environmental pollution, and the situation should be reported to the community counselor in time.
