1. Visual inspection.

2. Power on and check.
Put the switch button in the on position, check whether the display mark is consistent with the instruction manual, disconnect the power supply and connect it again, and observe whether the correct mark is also displayed. The axillary temperature is basically the same, indicating that the repeatability of the digital thermometer is good. If the display is abnormal (excessive temperature difference), it means that the battery of the electronic thermometer is exhausted or there is a bad contact.
3. Check the accuracy.
Press the switch button, the "188.8" mark appears on the LCD. Put the thermometer under the tongue for 1 minute. When the "C" mark stops flashing and there is a buzzer sound, the displayed reading is the body temperature, which is the oral body temperature. Repeat the measurement several times, the oral body temperature should be the same. If it is not the same, the meter has poor repeatability and cannot be used, and accuracy check is not required. If the oral body temperature is exactly the same, the underarm temperature can be measured. When the "C" mark stops flashing and there is a buzzer sound, the displayed reading is the armpit body temperature. Similarly, take a few more measurements, and the temperature under the armpits will be the same. Generally, the oral temperature is about 1 degree higher than the underarm temperature. If the tested oral temperature is too much or too little higher than the underarm temperature, the accuracy of the Digital thermometer can be considered unsatisfactory.
4. If the digital thermometer is placed under the tongue for 1 minute and the "C" mark is still flashing after taking it out, you need to cut off the power of the digital thermometer for 5 minutes and then reconnect it to perform the measurement again. Under normal circumstances, the display will no longer flash after taking the body temperature out of the mouth. If it still flashes intermittently, there must be a problem with the meter and cannot be selected.
