Products Description
Manual Sphygmomanometer is an essential tool for healthcare professionals to accurately measure blood pressure. They consist of a cuff that goes around the upper arm, a pressure bulb to inflate the cuff, and a gauge to read the pressure. Using this device requires a certain skill, and healthcare professionals must be trained to use it correctly.

How to Use
The product is in compliance with EN ISO 81060-1 Non-invasive sphygmomanmeters; Blood pressure measurements can be affected by the position of the patient and their physiologic condition. Before beginning a measurement, ensure that the patient rests for at least five minutes, has support of their back and feet, and does not cross their legs. Passively support the patient's lower arm and keep the upper arm at heart level. The procedure needs to take place in a quiet environment with no talking. Failure to follow these recommendations can result in inaccurate blood pressure measurements.
1. Select cuff size appropriate for the patient's arm circumference. The applicable range, in centimeters, is printed on each cuff.
2. Wrap the cuff around the arm with the artery index marker located over the brachial artery and with the lower edge of the cuff 2.5 cm above the bend in the elbow.
3. Inflate cuff rapidly to a level 30 mmHg above estimated (or palpatory) systolic pressure.
4. Partially open the valve to allow deflation at a rate of 2 to 3 mmHg per second. As the pressure falls, note systolic pressure and diastolic pressure detected with your stethoscope.
5. Rapidly release the remaining pressure and record measurements immediately. After a minimum of 30 seconds, repeat the above steps for a second reading.
Precautions for Use
Avoid strenuous exercise, emotional excitement, smoking, drinking, drinking coffee or strong tea, etc. before measurement.
Blood pressure should be measured at a fixed time every day to compare and monitor changes in blood pressure.
The environment should be kept quiet during measurement to avoid external interference.
The earpiece of the stethoscope should not be inserted into the cuff, but should be placed at the pulsation of the brachial artery.
Calibrate the sphygmomanometer regularly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
For patients with arrhythmias (such as atrial fibrillation), blood pressure measurement may not be accurate enough. If necessary, an electronic sphygmomanometer or multiple measurements can be used to take the average value.
If you have any questions about the measurement results or the measurement results are abnormal, you should consult a doctor in time.
