- Axillary Use: Put the tip in the middle of the dry armpit and fix the arm closely against the body.
4. Waiting: Keep the thermometer steady until the long beep sounds in about 60 seconds, meaning measurement is finished.
5. Reading: Check the temperature on the LCD display; rapid beeps will remind you of a fever condition.
6. Shut Down: The device will power off automatically after a period of inactivity to save battery.
