"Upper arm Sphygmomanometer BPM" refers to the heart rate (beats per minute) measurement function of the upper arm sphygmomanometer. The upper arm sphygmomanometer is mainly used to measure the systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure and pulse rate of the human body. During the blood pressure measurement, it records the changes in arterial pulsation (i.e. heartbeat) through sensors and calculates the heart rate value based on this. The Upper arm Sphygmomanometer BPM is a medical device used to measure blood pressure, usually consisting of a cuff, a pressure gauge and a rubber pump. This device is widely used in medical institutions, homes and other places to monitor the blood pressure level of the human body.

Working Principle
The working principle of the sphygmomanometer is to block the blood flow in the artery by inflating the cuff and then gradually releasing the air pressure to measure the blood pressure in the blood vessels. Blood pressure is usually expressed in two numbers, such as 120/80mmHg, the first number represents the diastolic pressure (systolic pressure) and the second number represents the diastolic pressure (diastolic pressure). By measuring blood pressure regularly, it can help diagnose health problems such as high blood pressure and take appropriate treatment measures.
Notes
1. Preparation before measurement: Avoid strenuous exercise, drinking, drinking caffeinated beverages and smoking 30 minutes before measurement, and rest quietly for 5-10 minutes. At the same time, choose the right cuff size to ensure that the cuff can be properly wrapped around the upper arm. The lower edge of the cuff should be 2-3 cm above the elbow pit, and the tightness should be suitable for inserting a finger.
2. Measurement posture: When measuring, you should sit on a chair with a backrest, place your feet flat on the ground, do not cross your legs, and place your upper arm flat on the table so that the center of the sphygmomanometer cuff is at the same level as your heart.
3. Multiple measurements: In order to obtain more accurate results, you can measure multiple times and take the average value. If you find that your heart rate or blood pressure values are abnormal, it is recommended to seek medical attention in time for further examination and diagnosis.
4. Equipment calibration: Calibrate the sphygmomanometer regularly to ensure the accuracy of the measurement results.
Calibration Check
Quick Check of Calibration
At zero pressure, make certain the pointer is within the oval surrounding the zero-pressure gradation on the dial. Although an unpressurized reading of zero does not guarantee accuracy at all scale points, failure of the pointer to indicate zero (± 3 mmHg) is an obvious sign of error.
Full Check of Calibration
The company recommends a full check of calibration at least every two years or according to local law and after maintenance and repair. Use the following procedure:
1. Connect the test instrument.
2. Pressurize gauge to slightly above 280mmHg.
3. Bleed pressure down no faster than 3mmHg per second, stopping to check the pressure at 250, 200, 150, 100, 50 and 0 mmHg.
