1. Cleaning: Wipe high-touch areas (outer surface of the cuff, inflation bulb, casing) with an approved disinfectant.

2. Disinfection vs. Sterilization: Routine cleaning and disinfection are sufficient; sterilization is generally not required.

3. Cuff Replacement: Regularly check for cuff wear, leaks, or malfunctioning Velcro.

4. Calibration Check: If abnormal readings, pointer not returning to zero, or excessive deflation are found, the cuff should be sent for calibration immediately.
